Lindsey, Certified Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager
I grew up in Lebanon county and initially graduated from Millersville University in 2008 with a Marine Biology/Psychology degree. I was a zookeeper for over five years working with animals from tortoises to sea lions in various zoos in the country (Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Alabama).
I wanted to move back to the area and since there are very few sea lions in this area, I decided to switch gears and change to the veterinary field. I went back to school with San Juan College to complete my Veterinary Technology degree to become a certified vet tech. I live in Schaefferstown with my husband (Brandon), sons (Flynn & Arlo) and a small zoo of our own. We have four dogs, one cat, sulcata tortoises named Barnaby Jones and Max, geckos, snakes, and over a dozen chickens!

Emily, Veterinary Assistant
Becoming a veterinary technician was my dream job during elementary school. As it tends to happen, though, I drifted from that dream and graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in computer science. After working in the industry for 5 years, COVID-19 hit and made me re-evaluate my career and passions. I decided to go back to school for what really matters to me. I am currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician through the online program with San Juan College. I love the choice I've made and the people I work with! I live in Lebanon with my husband and two cats who sometimes like each other, and my free time is spent with video games, board games, and pottery.

Hailey, Veterinary Assistant
I have always had a passion for animals and wanting to work with them. During my senior year of high school I worked at a zoo and an ice cream shop. Later, I started shadowing at a veterinary hospital where I got hired starting out as a receptionist. Furthering my career I went into a veterinary technician program at LCCC/NCC in 2019 and graduated in 2021. I recently moved from Lehigh valley to the area to live with my boyfriend and our 2 dogs (Bear and Remington) and our cat (Martini). I enjoy reading, going for walks with the dogs, hunting, and fishing.

Mariah, Veterinary Assistant
I grew up in Lebanon county, graduating high school from Palmyra. I have always had a love for animals and have been working in the veterinary field for the last six years. I started undergraduate in 2017 at Penn State University as a veterinary and biomedical science major. I then drifted away from that interest, to then have an interest in pediatric medicine. After a semester of nursing school I realized that even though I love babies and little kids, my passion is and always will be with animal medicine. I have three dogs, Hugo, Franklin, and Grigio. we love to do off season beach trips and walk hiking trails together!

Lori, Certified Veterinary Technician
After 13 years experience in the veterinary field working in various hospitals and specialty and emergency care facilities while traveling up and down the east coast, I have finally planted my roots here in Amish Country to raise my 2.5 year old daughter. We have an 11 year old lady kitty, Lindsey Storm, who was about to be surrendered to a shelter this May. We are active in our church here and I'm thrilled to have found a healthy, encouraging and wonderful home here at A-C Veterinary Associates where I plan to be for the remainder of my career!

Kate, Veterinary Assistant
I have always had a passion for animal safety and welfare since I was young. I have a Master's degree from Bloomsburg University in Speech Language Pathology. My dream of working with animals rekindled 4-5 years ago when I started non profit work with PAWS. I am a crazy cat lady, but have a deep love for all animals. I share my home in Lebanon with my husband Dylan and my "kids" Bodie (pit bull), 4 cats (Taco, Ramen, Pepper and Gnocchi) and 2 parakeets (Pickles and Biscuit). I also have 2-5 fosters at any given time. Hiking, reading, yoga and camping are my jam! Soon I will be working towards becoming a CVT once I find the right program for me.

Jim, Veterinary Assistant
I came to AC Vets after over 30 years of pastoral ministry. I decided to follow a life-long dream of working with animals and I have a Veterinary Assistants Certificate from Stratford Career Institute and have studied Veterinary Nursing at Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine. My wife, Lore, and I are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary in February. We have a son, Tyler, who lives with his partner, Austin, in Telford, PA; a daughter, Heather, and a grandson, Noah. Currently we have three dogs in our home: a Pomeranian, Missy; and two Yorkshire Terriers, Bear and Jewel. After work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading and watching science fiction (especially Doctor Who and Torchwood!). You can find me on the soccer pitch, as I am a USSF and PIAA soccer referee. My future plans include completing my Veterinary Nursing degree; owning a small farm filled with Beagles and Welsh Corgis; and seeing my beloved New Orleans Saints win another Super Bowl.
